Jenny Wang’s candle journey began in the 1990s, when she arrived in the U.S. with little more than a suitcase and a vision. Hailing from a hometown shaped by petrochemical refineries, she grew up surrounded by paraffin wax—the humble byproduct of petroleum. That everyday material became her canvas.
In 1995, she transformed a small garage in Queens, NY, into the birthplace of her first candle brand—ROMIA®. What began with paraffin and passion soon found its way onto the shelves of specialty boutiques, neighborhood shops, and iconic retailers such as Macy’s, Sterns, Bon Marché, and Pier 1 Imports—including a proud Fifth Avenue debut across from Central Park. Her pioneering work earned her a place in Who’s Who of Business Executives (2001–2002).
Three decades later—and after a flourishing career in transportation and global ingredients—Jenny returns to her roots with Zenaural™, a modern evolution of her original dream. Today’s candles reflect a new era: plant-based wax blends, premium Makesy fragrances, and hand-poured craftsmanship in the USA. No longer just functional light, they are sculptural forms and sensorial rituals, designed for clarity, serenity, and quiet joy.
