I am a fish of the Aegean—wandering freely through a mythic world of blue and white.

Beneath the island sun, I drift between luminous water and whitewashed shores, following currents older than memory. Cobalt waves trace my form; citrus orange carries the warmth of the sun; scattered green relief recalls olive leaves, sea grass, and the quiet life growing along the coast.

Playful, instinctive, and intentionally imperfect, Aegean Fish is not a literal portrait of the sea. It is a small wax fable about freedom—the freedom to move without destination, to belong without being held, and to find one’s own path through an ever-changing blue.

Each composition is created through hand-applied layers of colored wax. Irregular edges, shifting textures, and visible traces of the maker’s hand give every candle the character of a singular sculptural tableau.

• Heart — White Tea: Airy tea leaves with a soft, translucent floral character
• Base — Sel de Mer: Mineral sea air, delicate salt, and quiet coastal freshness

The fragrance opens with sunlit tangerine and a touch of dark fruit, drifts into the clarity of white tea, and settles into mineral sea salt. Bright, fluid, and gently aromatic, it evokes an Aegean morning carried by open water and warm island air.

Every Aegean Fish candle is individually composed and finished by hand. No two fish, currents, colors, or wax surfaces can ever be recreated exactly—not even by the same maker.

Variations in the fish’s form, wax placement, color balance, surface relief, and handmade texture are natural expressions of the artistic process. Each candle preserves its own movement and becomes a singular inhabitant of this imagined Aegean sea.

Safety

Remove all decorative ties before lighting. Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn. Burn within sight and keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable objects. Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
