An Impression of First Light

Inspired by the luminous spirit of Monet’s Impression, Sunrise, Impression de Lumière interprets dawn through hand-painted wax. Sunrise orange glows above turquoise water, silvered mist, charcoal reflections, and a small red sun. Rather than reproducing the painting exactly, it carries the feeling of light emerging through haze—a study of renewal and the promise of a new day.

The selected design remains its artistic reference: the subject, palette, and overall mood guide each new interpretation, while the maker’s gestures and compositional details give it an individual expression. Care & Burning

Remove all packaging, tags, and decorative ties before lighting. Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn. Place the candle upright on a stable, heat-resistant, noncombustible candle tray large enough to contain melted wax. Keep away from drafts and flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. Burn only while an adult is present and watching; never leave a burning candle unattended. Allow the wax and tray to cool before handling.
