Impression de Lumière is an ode to the first light of a new day—a quiet moment when the horizon begins to glow and the world opens once again to possibility.

Sunrise orange rises above turquoise water, silvered mist, charcoal reflections, and touches of moss green. A small red sun appears through the layered wax, carrying the promise of renewal, inspiration, and all that may begin from this moment forward.

Inspired by the luminous spirit of Monet’s Impression, Sunrise, the composition does not reproduce a landscape literally. Instead, it captures the feeling of dawn: light emerging through haze, color awakening across still water, and a beautiful future not yet written.

Created as a sculptural reminder to begin where you are, Impression de Lumière celebrates the hope contained within the present—the first step, the first light, and the infinite possibilities held by a new beginning.

Every Impression de Lumière candle is individually composed and painted by hand. Even its artist and maker cannot recreate the same arrangement of color, texture, and movement twice.

Variations in brushwork, wax relief, marbling, dimensions, and color balance are natural expressions of the artistic process. Each candle is a singular work within the Poème en Cire collection.

Safety

Remove all decorative ties before lighting. Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn. Burn within sight and keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable objects. Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
